Ingredients 7 - 8 apples 1 Tbsp ginger, freshly grated 1/4 cup orange juice 3 Tbsp butter 1/3 cup honey 3tbsp tapioca flour 2 tsp ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp ground ginger Directions 1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. 2. Make crust, place in pie pan, set other 2/5 aside for top. Don't bake. 3. Peel, core and slice the apples into 1/4 inch slices, then place in large bowl. Toss with freshly grated ginger and orange juice. 4. Over low heat melt butter and add honey to it. Mix with apples. 5. Mix spices and tapioca flour in a small bowl, then add to apples. 6. Transfer all into the prepared pie dish. Press down the filling a bit with your fingers. 7. Roll out the other half of pie crust. Cover the pie and crimp the edges. 8. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes. 9. Remove and let cool completely before serving.
