Preheat oven to 325. Cover bottom of oiled bunt pan with chopped pecans. Whisk 4 eggs, one at a time. Add cake mix, pudding, water, oil, and rum. Pour over chopped pecans. Bake for 55 minutes. While cake cools, prepare glaze: Melt butter, add sugar and rum and boil for 3 minutes. Pour glaze slowly over bottom of cake and down sides that have pulled away from edges of the pan. Let sit for 30 minutes, then cover with plastic and foil. Best if frozen first. Defrost on counter over night before serving.
