3/4 c. shortening 1 c. sugar, lite brown sugar o.k. 1 egg beaten 1 1/2 c. flour 1/2 t. bkg. soda 1 t. cinnamon 1 t. bkg soda 1 t. cinnamon 1 t. vanilla 1 3/4 c. oatmeal 1 c. mashed bananas 1/s c. raisins or nuts. Combine all ingred., beat until thoroughly blended. Drop by rounded tablespoon about 1 1/2 inches apart onto greased cookie sheet. Bake 12-15 minutes. Makes 4 doz.
