Lynne Crowe's recipe Really good!!

recipe:

1 cup sugar 3 heaping tb flour 1 cup milk 1 stick butter 3 egg yolks 1 baked pie shell Carmalize 2 T of sugar. Add the milk which has been scalded in top of double boiler. Cool in refrigerator. Cream egg yolks, flour and remaining sugar. When milk is cool, add egg mixture and butter. Reheat and cook until thick. Cool slowly. Pour into baked pie shell. Top with whipped cream or cool whip. Refrigerate over night
