This makes two pies, so good in the summertime
recipe:
1 8oz. package cream cheese 1 cup sugar 2 envelopes of whipped topping 2 or 3 bananas 2 baked pie shells or graham cracker shells Mix cream cheese and sugar. Set aside. Mix whipped topping by directions. Add cream cheese mixture to whipped topping and mix well Line pie crusts with bananas, add cream mixture and top with strawberry glaze. Glaze: 1 quart strawberries (sliced or whole) 1 cup sugar 3 tablespoons cornstarch\ 1/8th t. salt 3 tablespoons white corn syrup 1 cup water 3 tablespoons strawberry flavored gelatin Combine sugar, cornstarch, salt, syruup and water in saucepan and stir and cook until mixture thickens,(about 5 minutes) Add gelatin and blend . Cool. Place berries on pie. Spoon gelatin mixture between berries. Chill thoroughly.
