This was given to me years ago by Cathy Shilen and I can't tell you how many parties I've taken this to and everyone always wants the recipe.
1- 1pd can salmon [2cups] remove skin and bones 1- 8oz package of softened cream cheese 1 Tbs fresh lemon juice 2 Tsp finely grated onion 1 tsp prepared horseradish 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp liquid smoke 1/2 cup chopped pecans 3 Tbs chopped fresh parsley Drain and flake salmon. Combine with next six ingredients. You're going to have to use your hands for this one. Put in the fridge to chill for several hours. Combine pecans and parsley. Shape salmon mixture in and 8x2" log. Roll in nut mixture and chill again until ready to eat. Serve with crackers.
