1 2-2 1/2 lb. chuck roast 2 cups water 1/4 cup soy sauce 1 14oz bottle catsup 1/3 cup brown sugar 2/3 tbsp. chili powder 2/3 tbsp worcestershire sauce 1 1/2 tbsp. grated onion 2/3 tsp. dry mustard 1/3 cup broth Trim fat from meat. Place meat in stock pot with water and soy sauce. Cover and simmer over low heat 4 to 5 hours until meat falls apart. Shred meat from bone and set aside. Combine ketchup, sugar, chili powder, worcestershire sauce, onion, and mustard. Simmer 4 minutes. Combine meat, 1/2 cup broth from beef and catsup mxture in a large saucepan. Simmer over low heat 30 to 40 mintues, stirring occassionally. Serve alone or as sandwiches using fresh hamburger buns.
