The amount is calculated by the size of the turkey. Mom would make this without the turkey, in a baking dish, for Dad for a weekend lunch.

8-11 lb. turkey: 11-15 lb. 1/2 cup butter 2/3 c. butter 2 onions, minced 3 onions, minced 1 T. poultry seasoning 1 and 1/2 T. poultry seasoning 1 and 1/2 t. salt 2 t. salt 3/4 t. pepper 1 t. pepper 1/3 cup chopped parsley 1/2 cup chopped parsley 3/4 cup chopped celery leaves (and small stems) 1 cup chopped celery 2 and 1/2 quarts bread crumbs (torn bread) 3 and 1/2 quarts bread crumbs 15-19 lb. turkey: 1 cup butter 4 onions, minced 2 T. poultry seasoning 3 t. salt 1 and 1/2 t. pepper 3/4 cup chopped parsley 1 and 1/2 cup chopped celery 4 and 1/2 quarts bread crumbs Cook all ingredients except bread crumbs in skillet 5 minutes. Toss with bread crumbs. There is no notes about oven temp or time. Probably 350 degrees for half and hour or so.
